When Surrogacy Gives You A Grandchild

I wanted to speak from the side of a Grandparent when it comes to Surrogacy.

We were blessed with a grandson, Arrow Atlas Lyons, in July 2019. He has brought more than just joy, he has opened our hearts yet again to another grandchild. I saw the desire our daughter and her husband had for another child, but because of health complications she was unable to carry. As a mother you want to step in and fix it, but I couldn’t. Instead, Jennifer Allen stepped in and the journey began.

Was I nervous? You bet, I didn’t want to see our daughter struggle emotionally anymore. But it went amazingly. Our grandson came from Gods hands to our family and now this little man brings so much joy and happiness to us all.

These amazing women who decide to make couples dreams come true with a child need to know these children have a huge extended family who also get to experience the joy of a new family member. For that we thank you, for that I thank you, this little boy is loved beyond words!

Jennifer, you have added so much to our family and I wanted to let you know it is never taken for granted. Thank you doesn’t cut it, it’s so much more than that. My heart got bigger and my life was changed for the better in so many ways. For that Jennifer, I will always keep you in a very special place in my heart.
