Fabian and David
Fabian and David reside in the charming village of Profondeville, nestled within the Namur province of Belgium, in its French-speaking region.
They place significant importance on a child's awareness of their origins, which is why they’ve selected a known egg donor. Additionally, they aspire to nurture a meaningful connection with their surrogate to address any future questions their children may have about their heritage. Fabian and David view this journey as a partnership, and hope to develop a unique and ever evolving bond that will ultimately bring joy to everyone involved.
“Regrettably, the current situation in our home country, Belgium, doesn't permit us, as a same-sex couple, to access surrogacy. Consequently, we have explored international options. We have opted for Canada because we value the fact that this process is viewed as a genuine collaboration between two "families." We consider Canada's approach to be more ethically sound, as it allows the surrogate to choose which intended parent to collaborate with. We believe that the bond and relationship should take precedence, not only for the surrogate’s well-being but also for ours, and most importantly, for the sake of our future children.”
