Jonas lives in Munich, Germany where he works as a Technician. He is searching for a surrogate who can help him realize his dream of fatherhood. Jonas hopes to build a strong and lasting friendship with his future surrogate, and for their bond to be lifelong. He feels that it is important for his child(ren) to have a connection to their origin story. His family and friends are all aware of his surrogacy plans and are very supportive of his journey to fatherhood.

Quick overview on a few things you need to know about becoming a surrogate in Canada: 

  • You must be a female of 21-49 years of age

  • Have delivered one or more child(ren) of your own

  • Have experienced healthy pregnancies and births

  • Lead a healthy lifestyle and be physically/mentally healthy in general

Surrogates in Canada are: 

  • Reimbursed all of their expenses. (average $20,000-30,000)

  • Can apply for 15 weeks of maternity leave (if eligible)

  • Have independent legal representation and a legal contract

  • Will travel to the Intended Parents clinic - all costs covered
