We are happy to officially announce an important agency milestone: the birth of JA Surrogacy’s first surrogate baby! After many years of experience walking surrogates and intended parents through the process, our CEO, Jennifer Allen, decided to begin her own agency, JA Surrogacy Consulting, in January 2018. Only one year after our agency’s establishment, we are excited to welcome the first surrogate baby born under the JA Surrogacy name. Congratulations to Delphine and Alexandre and welcome to the world little Lou!

“Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations.”

These words undoubtedly summarize what we have experienced over the past ten years.

There have been ten years of waiting – of hope and disappointment. Ten years spent trying to have this child that we wanted so desperately.

This love between my husband and I, this ever-strengthening love, has allowed us to overcome all the difficulties. And now, after ten long years, our son Lou is finally here. Our happiness is indescribable, it seems almost unreal, like a dream that will not last. Yet, here he is. This little being, for whom we have tried everything for, and to whom we will give our lives too now. We are proud to have come so far and to have endured so much without giving up.

We were lucky to have met the right people at a time when we were desperate. People who are caring and attentive. This was not always the case during our surrogacy journey.

Once we connected with Jennifer Allen and her team at JA Surrogacy, things finally began to fall into place. We met some beautiful people who really committed to helping our dream come true. Our lawyers, our doctor, the nurses, and even our newborn photographer played an important role and we will forever hold each of them dear in our hearts.

What an adventure this has been, and thankfully, it is now one with a happy ending.

We are so thankful for Jennifer, who gave us the most wonderful gift of all when she introduced us to our surrogate. She accompanied us through each step of this journey so carefully and will forever have a special place in our family.

Our infinite gratitude extends, of course, to Lou’s “Sweet Canadian Mother”, and our surrogate, Makayla, for all this would not have been possible without her. She has deeply touched our hearts with her kindness and beautiful personality. Makayla has given us the most selfless gift that anyone could give, she has made us parents. There are no words strong enough to express our love and gratitude for what she has done for us.

As our journey with surrogacy comes to an end, our journey as a family of three can now begin. We look forward to all this new adventure has to hold.
